Lapdog Productions

I got a request from Lapdog to transform their website design for the All Saints Church in Charlottesville from a Photoshop mock-up  into a WordPress theme. I used Css, Html, and the Thematic theme to create a customized framework for the site that can now be edited and maintained by church staff.

I got a request to change this website so that it complimented already existing business cards and advertising. At the client’s request, I moved the site to a new webhost, used css to change the color scheme of this WP-Framework-based theme, set up “pretty permalinks”,  and added a favicon to give the site a distinct look on a list of bookmarks.

I customized the Thesis WordPress theme and created banners using the client’s pictures and Photoshop to give this site its lush look. I also set up a contact form using a WordPress plugin, and provided instruction on how to upload pictures for the site and the blog.

Trinity Episcopal Church

Trinitysm

I created this site for a local church using css. Graphics were created using Photoshop. The color scheme compliments a sign made for the church, and candid photos of church life were used to make the site personal and friendly.

Trinity WordPress Site

I upgraded the Trinity site to a CMS using WordPress and the Thesis theme and used its built-in web design capabilities to set up drop down menus  and simple design elements like a color scheme and font appearance. I used Thesis’s hook system to move the navbar under the header, insert a feature box on the front page, and design a custom header.  Now church members can update content on a regular basis themselves instead of finding someone who with knowledge of html and css and a copy of Dreamweaver.

I used the Thesis theme and  created the header using Photoshop. Obviously this isn’t the current design, I just like the collage style of the header.

Boheme Restaurant

I created this site for a new restaurant using css and flash. Graphics were modified using Photoshop. The color scheme matches the company’s stationery and menu, in order to present a cohesive brand. This site is no longer active.
